Perennial Pyrenees

“Presenting the cultural and natural heritage of the Pyrenees to the Anglosphere.”

Perennial Pyrenees was established in 2017 by Martin Locker, as an English-language research platform exploring the human and natural heritage of the Pyrenees through various disciplines (archaeological, folkloric, historical, botanical etc.). Based in Andorra, the project aims to both present and conserve the traditions and archaeology of this mountain range, producing high-quality publications and, in the future, personalised tours on various relevant themes. As the research progresses, an archive of raw data (including field recordings) will be built up and made freely available, to help the field of Pyrenean studies in the Anglophone world.
