Martin Locker is a trained archaeologist and researcher with nearly a decade’s experience in the discipline. Having excavated around Europe and completed both Bachelors and Masters degrees in archaeology, he gained his doctorate in Medieval archaeology from University College London in 2013. Following this, he has worked in education, heritage tourism and commercial archaeology in Britain, Spain and Switzerland, before settling in Andorra. His work has been published in several journals and books. Outside of archaeology, Martin has long held a fascination for cultural heritage, mountainous places, and all things rustic,  and Perennial Pyrenees is a happy culmination of these interests.
